Dr. Barnett grew up in Chattanooga, TN, and graduated from Vanderbilt University as well as the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Barnett served his residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Hospital, and his residency in urology at the University of Michigan Hospital.
Married with two sons – and now two granddaughters,
Dr. Barnett is an avid hunter and golfer, and enjoys reading and the study of the Spanish language.
