Hailing from the state of Texas, Dr. Bilhartz grew up in Dallas and graduated from Texas A&M University for both his undergraduate and medical degrees. He then completed his urology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Bilhartz practiced general urology beginning in 1992, but turned his attention to clinical research in 1998.
Dr. Bilhartz has been married for 25 years and has three children. He enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
