A graduate from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville), Dr. Binkley attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Medical Units, Memphis. He did his internship and urology residency at City Memphis Hospital and general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital, also in Memphis, TN. Additionally, he attended Flight Surgeon School at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, and holds the rank of Captain as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon.
A native of Nashville, Dr. Binkley’s wife, Pat, owns a successful children’s clothing store in Green Hills. The Binkley’s raised a son and a daughter, and Dr. Binkley enjoys most outdoor activities including golfing, fishing and hunting.
