Growing up in Marion, OH, Dr. Concepcion attended the University of Toledo where he was an Honors Scholar and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, and relocated to Nashville in 1984 for his residency in general surgery and later, urology and urology oncology.
Dr. Concepcion is the father of two teenagers, Nicholas and Isabel, and the proud dog-owner of Jojo – the Jack Russell Terrier. He is an avid exercise buff, and enjoys golfing and snow skiing.
