Growing up in Louisville, KY, Dr. Hagan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Hagan received additional medical training while working for the Great Ormand Street for Sick Children in London, England.

Dr. Hagan has been married to Carol, “the best woman in the world” for 45 years. Together they raised two daughters and now have two grandchildren. Dr. Hagan enjoys reading and hiking.
