A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Dr. Charlie Eckstein graduated from University of Iowa and Vanderbilt University Medical School.
Dr. Eckstein specializes in treating kidney stones, sexual dysfunction and urological cancers. Dr. Eckstein has been the President of Urology Associates since 1998. He was instrumental in establishing Nashville’s Bridges to Care Plus, a program to provide care to the indigent with donated physician services during his tenure as President and Chairman of the Nashville Academy of Medicine.
He and his wife, Carrie have one son and two daughters. One of their daughters has recently graduated from medical school making her the fourth generation of Eckstein physicians.
Dr. Eckstein enjoys golf, boating at Center Hill Lake and watching hockey.
