Growing up in Yukon, Oklahoma, Dr. Abel graduated from Vanderbilt University where she received a bachelors degree; she then earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Abel is one of few female urologists in the state of Tennessee.

Dr. Abel is married to husband, Mike Lincoln, and they have one child and three dogs. They enjoy boating, skiing and spending time with their young family and animals.

Although Dr. Abel practices general urology, she is an expert in urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain. She currently serves as the clinical director for the Women’s Institute for Sexual Health (WISH) at Urology Associates and as the Chief of Urology at Baptist Hospital. In addition, she has won multiple patient choice awards over the last several years.
