Growing up in Yukon, Oklahoma, Dr. Abel graduated from Vanderbilt University where she received a bachelors degree; she then earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Abel is one of only three female urologists in the state of Tennessee.
Dr. Abel is married to husband, Mike Lincoln, and they have one child and three dogs. They enjoy boating, skiing and spending time with their young family and animals.
