A native of Nashville, Rick has worked in healthcare since 1974. He attended Middle Tennessee State University, The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and Tennessee State University. Rick joined the Urology Associates team in 1995 and helped establish the Department of Clinical Research two years later. In conjunction with many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, our research department has conducted over sixty urologic clinical trials in the last 13 years. With over 35 years of healthcare experience, Rick is currently involved in the development of the Men’s Health Services division for Urology Associates.

Rick enjoys traveling, is an avid gardener, and spends much of his free time at the beach. Rick has been involved with music most of his adult life. As a teenager he sang with “Up With People” (Sing-Out- South). He was also a member of Nashville Pro Musica in the 80’s and most recently spent several years as a member of the Nashville Symphony Chorus. Rick recalls that one of the biggest challenges in his life was shortly after joining the Nashville Symphony Chorus in which he learned his first performance would be singing an opera in front of several thousand people…in Russian…!
