Brooke received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2003 from Tennessee Technological University. With it, she received the Clinical Nurse Excellence Award and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Building her career in critical care (ICU) for seven years before moving locally, Brooke spent her first four years in Nashville working in surgical recovery while simultaneously completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing. Graduating with top honors from Tennessee State University in 2013 with her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Brooke began her practice with Urology Associates in the fall of 2013.
Brooke and her husband, Todd Jarrell, enjoy traveling, and spending time sailing on Percy Priest Lake. When not on the water, Brooke and Todd can usually be found on the Greenways close to home or cooking and entertaining on their deck overlooking Shelby Greenway.
Brooke loves living in Nashville and especially enjoys the strong sense of community in East Nashville. She is actively involved in her neighborhood, forming the Rosebank Neighbors Association—twice acting as its President—as well as serving as a board member of Friends of Shelby Parks and Greenways. She and her husband are also active volunteers for community events around the city and spend many Saturdays planting trees, organizing litter pick-ups, and lending a helping hand in whatever way they can.

Getting to Know Brooke:
Before her career in the medical field, Brooke worked as a starving artist, dancing professionally in Asheville, NC and touring in France, supplementing her (meager) income working at a plant nursery. She still occasionally pirouettes across a studio floor, but it’s unlikely you’ll ever see her flitting across a stage.
