A native of Tennessee, Dr. Lohrasbi attended Vanderbilt University where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He then attended the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, and moved to the University of Louisville for his internship and residency in urology.
Dr. Lohrasbi performed the first Robotic surgery in Tennessee in 2002, and became a nationally recognized Robotic instructor in 2005. He was also one of the first Urologic surgeons in Tennessee to perform Laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Lohrasbi is a guest lecturer at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
He and his wife, Taraneh, have a son, Iman, who is now a 7th grader at Battle Ground Academy. Dr. Lohrasbi enjoys reading, hiking, jogging, and collecting World War II memorabilia.
