Lisa Jambusaria, M.D., FPMRS – Urogynecologist

Dr. Lisa Jambusaria was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and completed her premedical training at UCLA. She then moved to Philadelphia for medical school at Drexel College of Medicine where she met her husband, Dr. Brendan O’Hare. She completed her OB/Gyn residency in Philadelphia at Abington Memorial Hospital and is a board certified OB/Gyn. During her training Dr. Jambusaria received Teaching Resident of the Year Award, AUGS Resident Award for Excellence in FPMRS, Women’s Fund of Philadelphia Women’s Advocate Award, AAGL Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award and the Rebecca Hogue Outstanding Resident Award. She and her husband moved to Nashville for the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University, during which she had two adorable daughters. She has published original research in her field including research on vaginal mesh surgery and mesh revisions, and started randomized trials for the treatment of Interstitial Cystitis (IC). She is the only Fellowship trained UroGynecologist in Middle Tennessee outside of Vanderbilt University and the first UroGynecologist to join Urology Associates, P.C.

Dr. Jambusaria likes to spend time with her family, drawing and painting (although now it can be considered arts and crafts with her girls), traveling, reading and binge watching various TV series with her husband.
