Originally from Wolcott, Indiana, Dr. Flora earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and then graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He then moved to Nashville for his residency in urology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Flora has been a practicing urologist since 1991.

Dr. Flora helped during my time of need during the holidays. Worked me in and did diagnostics and test to diagnose the problem when another major institution in the Great city of Nashville told me to go to er. Dr. Flora did surgery to correct a problem I had been medicated intermittently for over 30 years with antibiotics that was never resolved but he spent time to counsel with other practitioners to provide the best treatment. Wow should have seen him years ago!
