Meet Dr. Dervishi
Dr. Dervishi specializes in robotic surgery and urologic cancers such as: prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, and adrenal cancer. He received his bachelor of science degree in chemistry at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He then went on to complete his medical training at UTHSC College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. Following his medical training, he relocated to Kentucky, where he completed his urology residency at the University of Louisville. Dr. Dervishi then pursued advanced training at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut where he completed his fellowship in Urologic Oncology & Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Even though I am about 2 1/2 times his age, I feel like he is my friend in addition to being a skilled surgeon. He did a 9 1/2 hour surgery on me two years ago (I was his first surgery patient when he came to Nashville) and yesterday he did another follow-up and he declared me cancer free. My wife and I just love him. He is so easy to talk to and gives you the facts. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Dervishi is one of the easiest doctors to relate to, very personable and talks to you on your level. Couldn't imagine having any other urologist that I trust, like and respect. Just a great guy.
All of Dr. Dervishi’s staff, including his nurse Blair and care coordinator Tori , are always friendly and very competent. I have experienced that they answer my questions fully and patiently. I come away feeling listened to and cared for. When I’ve talked with surgeons in the past, it’s often been true that they are not good listeners at all. Dr Dervishi’s practice is very different; that’s hard to beat.
